What to include in your listing

• Photos of the actual lot: close-up and a wider shot of bags or bales.
• Grade and colour: for example raffia, injection, blow or film; natural, white, coloured or black.
• Monthly capacity and location: buyers plan freight and continuity around these.
• K-value: K-value describes the molecular weight of PVC. Pipe and profile makers usually specify a K-value range.
• Contamination: Labels, paper, metal, sand and other polymers lower quality. Agree an acceptable limit and how it will be checked on arrival.
• Moisture: Moisture causes bubbles, silver streaks and weak parts. Ask for the moisture percentage and whether the material needs drying before use.
• Plasticizer: For flexible PVC, plasticizer content controls softness. Ask for the approximate level and the type if your product needs it.
• Ash: Ash content shows how much filler or inorganic matter is present. Lower ash generally means purer polymer.
