Nylon / PA Scrap is scrap PA / Nylon sourced from engineering parts, fibres. Scrap is material as collected: sorted by polymer, grade and colour, but not yet ground or pelletised. It is the lowest-cost way in and suits recyclers who wash, grind and extrude in-house.

What to check before you buy
- Moisture: Moisture causes bubbles, silver streaks and weak parts. Ask for the moisture percentage and whether the material needs drying before use.
- Viscosity: Melt or solution viscosity affects flow and strength. Ask how it is measured and what range to expect.
- Glass %: Glass fibre percentage sets stiffness and strength. Agree the exact percentage and its tolerance.
