Recycled ABS Granules is granules ABS sourced from recycled pellets. Recycled granules (pellets or reprocessed granules) are melted, filtered and cut into uniform pellets. They are the easiest form to run, closest to virgin, and priced accordingly.

What to check before you buy
- MFI: Melt flow index (g/10 min) tells you how easily the material flows. Match it to your process: low for pipe and blow moulding, medium for film and raffia, higher for thin-wall injection moulding.
- Impact: Impact strength shows how tough the material is. It matters for crates, automotive parts and anything that is dropped or loaded.
- Moisture: Moisture causes bubbles, silver streaks and weak parts. Ask for the moisture percentage and whether the material needs drying before use.
- Lot check: Agree MFI and its tolerance, density, moisture, ash or filler content, colour and how consistent it is between lots, black specks or gels, and the filter mesh used. Ask for a test report with every lot.
