TPE / TPR Scrap is scrap TPE / TPR sourced from flexible moulded products. Scrap is material as collected: sorted by polymer, grade and colour, but not yet ground or pelletised. It is the lowest-cost way in and suits recyclers who wash, grind and extrude in-house.

What to check before you buy
- Hardness: Shore hardness tells you how soft or firm an elastomer is. Agree the Shore A or D range for your product.
- Density: Density confirms the polymer and shows filler content. A density higher than expected usually means filler or mixed material.
- Contamination: Labels, paper, metal, sand and other polymers lower quality. Agree an acceptable limit and how it will be checked on arrival.
- Lot check: Ask for photos of the actual lot, whether it is post-industrial or post-consumer, polymer purity, moisture, and how much label, paper, metal or other polymer is mixed in. Confirm the bale or bag weight and how much loads per truck.
