EVA Regrind is regrind / flakes EVA sourced from reprocessed eva. Regrind (or flakes) is scrap that has been sorted and ground, and often washed, into small pieces. It can go straight into many moulding and extrusion lines, or be pelletised further.

What to check before you buy
- VA %: Vinyl acetate percentage controls the softness and flexibility of EVA. Footwear foam and film use different VA levels.
- Density: Density confirms the polymer and shows filler content. A density higher than expected usually means filler or mixed material.
- Contamination: Labels, paper, metal, sand and other polymers lower quality. Agree an acceptable limit and how it will be checked on arrival.
- Lot check: Ask about flake size, whether it is washed or unwashed, dust and fines, moisture, colour consistency across bags and any mixed polymers. A sample run on your own machine is the best test.
